The S.A.F.E. Fund

Coach L. Renee' has created The S.A.F.E.(Support and Fellowship for Empowerment) Fund to increase access to education and resources in Ohio, for those who do not have the means to pay for non-traditional counseling (Hypnotherapy or NLP). The fund will ensure they get access to a minimum of 5 sessions and a maximum of 7 sessions with a licensed/certified NLP Practitioner or Hypnotherapist, depending on need and lifestyle.

Ongoing stigma and lack of access to health care act as barriers for anyone with a mental health condition, but experts argue there is a particular disparity when it comes to minorities, especially African Americans, which can contribute to individuals not receiving proper support or treatment to feel better.

We've seen an uptick in the treatment of intergenerational and race-based trauma within marginalized communities. Covid. Loss of employment and a surge in hate groups certainly played a significant role in the increase as well.

Those numbers tripled from 2022 to 2023 and are expected to continually rise in 2024 and 2025 if we don't act now with lasting, effective, systemic change.

You can help us attain that. During these times of high stress, trauma, and unpredictability, suicide rates are increasing, violence and abuse have dramatically increased and the ability to maintain employment has decreased as a result of high symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Your one-time contribution of $127 will be part of the S.A.F.E. fund for those without resources to pay for these services, in order for families to restore balance, start the healing to become healthier participants in society. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly towards helping to empower communities of color along the journey toward wholeness. Services take place securely online from anywhere in the world. The subscription ends after 1 year unless you ask to renew.

Here's how it works for those who need the services:

• People interested in having their nontraditional counseling expenses covered will need to complete a brief application. If funds are available, we will determine the number of sessions needed and a licensed/certified professional will be assigned.
• Each counseling credit is worth $127(one session) and must be used within 90 days of application approval, or the credit will be assigned to the next person approved.
• Give as much or as little as you can and please share this link with friends. Every donation counts. We highly encourage allies to step up and accept this challenge.
• If you have a religious or non-profit organization that you belong to, please feel free to share this with them as well.
